These days many brides and other women do boudoir sessions before their wedding, for an anniversary and for other special occasions. They have become a hot new trend over the last year and many photographers have added them to their packages. Another alternative to this sexy photography shoot is Pin Up!
Started in the early 1900’s Pin Up became pop culture, from drawings to post cards to photographs. One of the earliest Pin Up girls was Betty Grable whose Pin Up pictures were very popular by the G.I.s in World War II. They were considered art work and many artists have specialized in this genre of photography including some well known name like Alberto Vargas and George Petty.

These days photographers are taking this concept and making it modern. These sexy shoots don’t have to be scandalous but instead show a cute side of you from the past! You can have your hair done in a traditional early 1900s fashion, buy some red lipstick and invest in a few cute outfits like a cute one piece swim suit or short shorts. Your photographer might even have some ideas for props if you want to include them.
Here are a few from a recent shoot with A&A Photography out of Colorado in their studio!

So if you want to surprise your honey with a unique wedding or anniversary gift dig out your short shorts and buy some new red lipstick! This could be a fun thing to do with friends as well for a bridal shower, bachelorette party or just for fun!
you are going to love
