Most brides hire a professional wedding photographer for the big day and usually wedding photographers take several weeks to get you the photos. Although it’s usually worth it if you have a good photographer it is still hard to wait! This is where you rely on your friends and family to share the many photos they took throughout the day! While your professional wedding photographer is taking the important photos often times your guests are getting the silly photos!
A new fun way to make sure you receive all these photos is with a computer station. This station lets your friends and family upload the photos they took throughout the day to a computer for you! This is an easy thing to do and it’s inexpensive!
Although you are probably receiving a beautiful album from your professional photographer you can these other fun photos and make another album or have them printed and buy a cute photo box to keep them in!
Here is what you will need:
1. A table set up somewhere safe at your reception. If you are giving favors to your guests it is good to keep it near by.
2. A laptop with sufficient hard drive space (you can purchase a small external hard drive if you need to as well)
3. A card reader with multiple options for different size cards
4. Someone you trust to man the station who understands how to upload
To help remind your guests of the station you can place special cards to put on your tables as well. If you have a large wedding you might consider setting up 2 laptops with 2 card readers so people don’t have to wait too long.
