A unique idea I came across was having the bridesmaids carry a lantern or candle down the aisle instead of a traditional flower bouquet. This can be done many ways all in your unique style. You could use a metal lantern with a tea light candle (these come in a variety of colors if you want to add a touch of color) or paper lanters in your own color choice. With a lit candle you add a even more atmopher to the already romantic setting. These are something you can incorporate through your entire wedding and even use the bridemaids lanterns in the reception; a recycling of sorts! You can add the lanterns down the wedding aisle and as centerpieces on your tables at the reception. I love this idea because it’s fresh and new!
