Becca and Charlie were married in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Like a lot of our brides, Becca originally didn’t even consider having her wedding filmed, thinking all wedding films were dull, boring and cheesy. Then she came across a short wedding vignette on a bridal blog, which inspired her to try and fit cinematography into her budget – and we’re glad she did! We absolutely LOVE having the opportunity to change peoples’ minds about the stereotypical wedding film (i.e. loooong, boring, everything in slow motion, cartoon-doves-flying, rose-petals-falling… you get the picture.) She really liked the vintage, nostalgic look of Super 8 film, however since we don’t shoot Super 8, we did all of the vintage grading in post to fit Becca and Charlie’s style. The ranch was breathtaking, and Charlie’s last minute decision to go ahead and hold the ceremony outside, even with imminent storm clouds on the horizon, was obviously the right choice – the rain held off until just after the ceremony finished. Awesome day, awesome couple!
