Winter is a beautiful time for a wedding in Colorado if you like snow. Mark & Angela were married on one cold, beautiful, snowy day in Eastern Colorado. Mark is in the military and this was their one chance to get married because he has and will be deployed for awhile. This couple was a lot of fun and willing to stand outside in the cold for pictures even after dark!
Becca and Charlie were married in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Like a lot of our brides, Becca originally didn’t even consider having her wedding filmed, thinking all wedding films were dull, boring and cheesy. Then she came across a short wedding vignette on a bridal blog, which inspired her to try and fit cinematography into her budget – and we’re glad she did! We absolutely LOVE having the opportunity to change peoples’ minds about the stereotypical wedding film (i.e. loooong, boring, everything in slow motion, cartoon-doves-flying, rose-petals-falling… you get the picture.) She really liked the vintage, nostalgic look of Super 8 film, however since we don’t shoot Super 8, we did all of the vintage grading in post to fit Becca and Charlie’s style. The ranch was breathtaking, and Charlie’s last minute decision to go ahead and hold the ceremony outside, even with imminent storm clouds on the horizon, was obviously the right choice – the rain held off until just after the ceremony finished. Awesome day, awesome couple!
Cody and Bri were married just south of Denver in Colorado. Bri spent a lot of time working on the details for her wedding. She used black, white, hot pink and lime green as the colors and everything matched perfectly. Her centerpieces were tall vases and small round vases filled with water, black rocks and hot pink daisies. She used white table cloths with black and lime green runners and each menu was hand put together with a cute ribbon. The ceremony aisles were lined with black and white cones filled more hot pink daisies. We had such a great time with this couple and were honored to be a part of their day!
Jenn and Matt searched long and hard for the venue for their wedding in Montego Bay, Jamaica. When they found Round Hill Resort, they knew it was just perfect – absolutely breathtaking setting, exceptional service, and villas that are absolutely to die for! Getting to photograph down there was an total dream and we really loved all the great details Jenn and Matt incorporated into their day!
Jenn and Matt had a really special moment before the ceremony when they saw eachother for the first time!
Loved the groom’s custom seersucker suit!
Their reception was outside on the Resort’s beautiful restaurant deck overlooking the water – it was a perfect evening!
The evening ended with a VERY special touch- a first dance choreographed to a musical medley, that definitely included some stuff from the 80’s!
